ποΈ National Cadet Corps (NCC)
NCC or National Cadet Corps is an integral part of SGC, Burtuk. The college has two NCC units: namely 3 Sikkim Battalion NCC and 1 Sikkim Battalion NCC. The former is a composite unit catering to both Senior Division (Boys) and Senior Wing (Girls), while the latter is an all-girls Senior Wing unit.
The cadets enrolled in NCC are trained in various aspects of armed forces including physical training, adventure activities, social service, and more over a period of three years. The training not only helps in personality development but also provides ample opportunities for serving the community and the nation. Students interested in joining the NCC can do so by submitting an application in the prescribed form with the appointed NCC Officers of the College.

πΏ National Service Scheme (NSS)
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a program sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, aimed at character building and promoting discipline among students. The motto of NSS is "Not Me But You".
The College has two NSS units, each with a capacity of 100 students, and encourages those interested in social activities and a possible career in the Armed Forces to join.
